Thought these 20 year old clips of some *vintage* effects might be of interest.

Circa 1984, features EH microsynth (lead+ faux bass), Ibanez 505(clean), and original Alesis Midiverb direct to 4tk. Most likely a Script Logo Dyna-Comp was used throughout also. A love poem to the beauty of backwards guitar with cheesy *vintage* Roland 606 drum track.

Soon after that, the influence of Bowie's Let's Dance and SRV channeling Albert King lead to this TS9 fueled track. That, and my newly purchased (and long gone) Sequential Circuits Prophet VS synth.

Both tracks recorded direct to 4tk in the mid 80's .

Very Refreshing Kerry,
I still love a guitar Band, Hate where music has gone since MTV, Got no use for some of todays music.
You were getting some good tone's outa your rig in those day's and don't downplay your style too much, sounded much better than some of the crap I see on the BoobTube now ! 8)  8)

Thanks for listening. As someone who tends toward  tube snobbery, I like to remind myself that I made do without tubes for years. Just pedals  into a 4tk cassette,  in a roach infested 4th floor apartment in Boston's North End.  As for the state of music today, I am a fan, just as I hope the clips I posted portray me as a fan of the music of the era of the mid 80's. I have the luxury of groovy Boston area college radio to keep me inspired, just as I did 20 years ago.  That and the Abbey Lounge on Friday nights.
