no.1 - For output, it goes to vol 3 which is farthest left, looking from behind pot, so does the circuit out come out 2 and 1 go to ground?

no.2 - for the 10k trim, if using a pot, lugs 3 + 2 (coming from transistor side) are shorted and 1 goes to the bottom of the circuit right?

It looks easy..
but I ve been building it two times(2 perfboards)..still doesn't work..
peace...

Tkae your time...
I'm not sure I understand the Vol question..
If you're asking how to wire the 3 lugs of the vol pot..
of the two outside lugs...connect one to the DC output cap signal path, connect the other outside lug to circuit ground...the middle [wiper] lug is the output after volume control.
The trimpot [10k] for Q2 Collector bias? if that's what your're asking here...
connect the collector to an outside lug of the trimpot, connect the wiper [middle] of the trimpot where Q2's collector resistor would connect [at the top right of the schematic, just past an xxx ohm resistor from the battery,IIRC.].
Some connect the last lug of the trimpot to the wiper, not totally necessary, since it's used as a variable resistor.
Let us know how it goes...oh...
if you have 3906, or regular type PNP's you can put 'em in there and see how they sound or at least figure on biasing them, plus if a reverse connection occurs, it won't be on the Ge's...
