Identifying transformers

Hello everybody,
I have a bunch of transformers with no identification marks of any sort on them. how can I tell thier values?

if you go to Mojo musical supplys on line and look in the Fact section there is a formula and test procedure for finding out what windings are in the tranny's you have,

I can't find that link JD.  Could you post a link to that Mojo Formula thing your talking about please.

I am kind of in the same boat.  I know a place that has piles of old trannys.  But I can't tell which is gold and which is a huge ugly paperweight.

hey Blues, i'll go look for it in a min, I think it's just an article in one of there tech sheet's they send me ever once in awhile, Give me a few, i'm in the middle of a cap job on 1 of my amp's, won't be much longer and I'll go look.
