OK, here's a few pics. So far, everything is going as planned. I'll be soldering the interconnective wiring tomorrow night.

This is the bracket I made for holding the tube socket. I drilled the holes after I bent it up. Kind of a pain doing it that way, but it worked out OK. I used a paper mock up to figure out what shape it should be and stuff.

Here is a view showing how the bracket will be held in place.

Here is a test run to see how everything fits inside. To the left is my prototype AuotCAD drawing. The only thing I don't have worked yet out is where to put the AC jack, but I think I have a good spot for it...

Nice lookin build Paul, you gonna use shielded cable for your signal path run's ?

Yep, I'll use shielded wire. I used shielded wire on my other Shaka Tube build, which I called the "Bulldog", and this layout basically follows the layout of the Bulldog, except for the tube is in a different location. So, based on the success of the Bulldog, I anticipate this one ought to work OK as well. I just wanted to get this circuit in a more compact enclosure, and I can't seem to walk away from a technical challenge like this...
