My power attenuation needs...

Are pretty simple. I like the sound of my super reverb on "3" but it is pretty damn loud, esp at practice or even at a gig. I was looking at using an L-pad or the Weber VST Load Dump to just ratchet it down a bit.

It's not a whole lot of attenuation that I need, I don't find the sound of the super reverb on "10" is that great, I like to keep it mostly clean, but the dynamics and tone at "3" sounds just right.

I was thinking if I go with the L-pad, that I should use a stereo 4-ohm in parallel to go down to 2 ohms, and that should handle enough power.

I suspect the Load Dump is an L-pad with some extra circuitry to keep the tone preserved.

Any ideas or suggestions?
