my friend's friend wants to trade a small stone for my modded phase 90 but he says his got a 70's small stone and a reissue, he told me the re-issue works 100% good but the vintage makes a little noise, so im wondering if i get the vintage would i be able to change some components to get rid of the noise? how about true bypass??
thanks!

Seems kind of weird to trade a tricked out phase 90 for a not working so good Small Stone, that you may or may not be able to get working to your satisfaction.  The reissues are fine, mojo aside.  Better yet, see if you can trade for both, heh heh.  That way you could see if you could fix the noise issue without risking anything.

Since you like Small Stones, you should check out the moosapotamus.com FrankenStone article to see one thats been modded within an inch of its life.

Making the small stone work without "noise" is not for sure...it depends from your skills and your ability to find the "correct" components. Give it a try and you'll see. :icon_cool:
