HELP WITH POT! Can't find logarithmic potentiometers.

What is all available in my country are linear pots, log pots are so rare. what can I substitute for a log pot?

I've seen various passive circuit tricks to act like a Log pot. Also, there's plenty of stores online to buy pots. I like pedalpartspro or whatever it's called. Ridiculously low prices. Very nice.

Audio pots are logarithmic. Also, you can verify if this is true by finding the pot data schemes. Like A1K is Log 1Kohm resist or something. Forget whether its A or B, and old parts can sometimes be reversed.
If I can solve the problem for someone else, I've learned valuable skill and information that pays me back for helping someone else.
