Sorry for the lack of clarity...I meant a way to get a larger-viewing/printing image, not a layout for a larger pedal size.

EDIT: I just noticed there is no pre-gain control on version 2's layout.

I just finished populating and I'm REALLY diggin the synth fuzz tones. The only problem is that I'm not getting any filtering.
I used some 2n5457 instead of k30a but I made sure to check the pinout. I'll have to steal some k30a from a boss pedal to see if it makes any difference.

Will update later after I do that.

@mike, that was quiick ...it has to be the 2sk30a i'm afraid....i tried all sorts of fets,    (check the 2sk30a datasheet, different pinouts)


@larry:  oh yeah... put a pot 3 from fuzz switch / pot 2 to 10nf.  ..1 to ground.  


use the pdf zoom, then do a screen grab, (print scr sys rq) keypad button, then open in an image prog...paste as new image.

ZODIAC II with gain pot, and clean filter option too.. so its  -  fuzz/fuzz+filter/filter.

(modded phuncgnosis+fuzz version)

probably be better off with a rotary switch, or a better switching arrangement, but hey ho..

My Zodiac build is on indefinite hold till I can solve my g**damn paypal situation.   I thought I had it solved but MORE bullshit happened. I'm so tired of relying on everyone else for ordering parts.   It's getting to be really depressing

Been reading about Boss style bypasses on Geofex for a while, and the "switches" in those. Basically you have a mosfet switch were you have voltage on the gate or pull it to ground. Just seemed to me that this would fit nicely here. Either on of the on-off-on pulls one of the switches to ground, thus disabling either the filter or the fuzz.

Nota bene: haven't looked at the schematic for this lately, but I assume you have a single SPST switch enabling/disabling the filter or fuzz (I'm on my phone and to lazy to download the PDF).

Read geofex article on Boss style bypass, it shows how power is applied. It's caps before and after and power in some way I can't quite remember. I'm on my phone (still, we're doing the Christmas tour of relatives, back home in about a week) maybe if I can find a computer I can dig up schematics.
