Rocky Road mod..... where do i put this wire

So i included the pictures of the circuit board, and I know that the capacitor lead is supposed to be soldered, via wire to R44. but looking at the circuit board i cant really figure out where that would feasably be, is there a solder hole somewhere i just dont see?

ok this is where I found the mod for the rocky. road

now I understand that mod includes a a wire to the out, the ground, and the blue wire. but
my new question has to do with the blue wire.

am I to use the blue wire going to the in/out chip, or the other, larger chip?
and if it is the in/out. whatdo I do with the other end of the blue wire?
