Remember, the DL4 one...  Do you think it'd be too big of a deal to use a 10uf one instead of a 2.2uf one, if it's just for switching?

Switching? Sorry I don't quite understand.

I'm guessing you could use 10uF without any problems. If it's in the audio path you'll get more bass, if it's a power supply bypass, you'll just filter a little lower frequency or maybe even a little better. No big difference either way. That's my guess at least, no seeing the schematic.

In any case you shouldn't hurn anything unless it's part of a switching power suppy in which case I would stick to the original. You can always use another type to. There's really no downside to the majority of tantalum substitutions other than the lifespan of electrolytics.
