What DS-1 mod does this sound like?

Yes I know it's not an easy question.

I've tried listening to some of the other mods on the tube.

They all seem a little shrill still. Granted some of that is because people think using a phone/webcam mic is an acceptable recording device.

This one "seems" a little beefier.

The tone control reminds me of the way the Wampler vintage mod works, but that mod doesn't have the level of drive this does. That's the only one besides the Keeley stuff I'm familiar at all with. It doesn't act like a Keeley IMO.

Wampler JCM mod with R13 changed to 1k. Awesome mod that I do to almost every DS1 I get my hands on.

I figured it was probably some variant of the JCM mod, but nobody seems to run one through large tube amp or if they do their recorded poorly.

I suppose I can always try it out, it's not like they are expensive.

It's amazing how many modders starting offering their own "unique" mods after Wampler and Keeley made theirs public.
The JCM with the Phlat mod is an awesome combination.
