Neat.
How long have you been building stuff?
I ask because I'm not an EE and I'm wondering how long it took you to get into tube stuff?
I still have a lot to learn but I aspire to one day make a tube amp of my own. Probably a kit.
I like that its all on perfboard too.
Thanks for sharing

Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.

Smoke me a Kipper. I'll be back for breakfast.

Hi Rich

I started learning about electronics and building pedals about 6 months ago.  I've been a bit fanatic about it though. I have built 13 analog pedals, the 2 tube pedals, a Beavis Noisy Cricket amp and a number of odds and ends. I haven't tried a tube amp yet.

The Valvecaster (single tube pedal in the photo) is a straight forward build with only about 8 components. If you have built a few pedals it should be easy to get your head around.

I've used perf board for all my builds except for vero board for one. I find vero confusing and pcb seems like a whole other level. Charting the perf layouts has helped me understand circuits.

Happy Building!

Um, excuse me while I go throw my soldering iron and unfinished pedals in the trash...

Incredible builds and their great looking, too.
