Hey guys I am going to build a Noise Gate.  This is the one I am going to work on.
Just Wondering if there is any simply way to add a gate LED so that I can clearly know that when the pedal is taking effect?
Thanks all

Edit:
Unfortunately I don't have exact schmatic for this layout but since say it is based on schematic on tonepad.com so I guess this is:

If anyone one can help than I will build the tonepad layout instead of that on the top

You should post a schematic or link for best results in getting an answer to your question.
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

You actually might want to find another noise gate to build....

The MXR noise gate has a long history of build problems.

Cut and paste "MXR noise gate" into the forum search engine.

Expecially when following a wrong schematic ;)

Don't worry about matching 2 transistors doing 2 different things...

Q2 drives the FET, well if you add a resistor it can drive another transistor + LED and give the function requested...

Edit:
damn, Larry beated me for a bunch of seconds  :icon_mad:
"NOT FLAMMABLE" is not a challenge

So if this this is the way adding the led?
This layout is verifyed so I will prefer this one.
Thanks so much

yep,
better add a 47k/100k at 5088's base

Thanks. What is the different between 47k and 100k being used?
