tonepad rebote 3 delay caps from 5v to ground

Could someone explain why there are two parrallel 47uf caps from 5v to ground? Wouldn't one 100uf cap do the same job? http://www.tonepad.com/getFileInfo.asp?id=156

Probably. Or 10uFd might be enough.

Possibly he had no 100uFd, or the ones he had were too tall.

There's other reasons to favor parallel arrays of caps. Hypersonic performance. Self-heating concerns. Getting a cap NEAR every part that needs it. Nothing important for this project.

Maybe to keep the component size small so Pickdropper could fit one in the world's smallest Altoid's box?

Could be! I have a hard enough time working with 1/4 watt resistors I'm thinking of using at least 1/2 watts on all my builds! I can't imagine attempting to handle 1/8 watts.
