hey all

i was just reading the range of Dan Armstrong pedals, and ive got this much sorted:

Orange Squeezer - Compressor
Blue Clipper - Distortion
Purple Peaker - Lo-Hi Boost
Green Ringer - Octave
Red Ranger - Clean Boost

but what in the blue hell is a Yellow Humper?

also, is there a schematic anywhere for the EH Holy Grail?

I believe the Yellow Humper was a similar to a Purple Peaker, but tuned for bass guitar.

The Holy Grail is largely digital.  If you need to repair one, that's one thing.  If you expected to clone it, fuggedaboudit.

the HG is digital; the main chip discontinued...

Red Ranger had a switch to go from full-range boost, to bass boost, to a very cool treble boost similar to that of the old hawk booster made by Harry Kolby...think Rory Gallagher!
