Replacement for mpf 102?

Anyone know if I can replace mpf 102 with an a1271?

is for a 2sa1271, a sillicon pnp planar transistor. the mpf102 is a junction fet. if you show us the circuit, someone of an expert nature may be able to say yes or no, but the short answer would be "non!"
