I've never heard one of these, never even seen one in person.  But I was doing some drunken web browsing/reading the other night and I stumbled on an RG Keen article where he said he suspected this pedal was based on a boost circuit that used to be built into some Vox guitars.  I had never heard of that and it really sparked my curiosity so I got to doing some more digging around and this is all I could find.  Anybody have any idea if this might be the jumping off point for the SB?  (I tried to email RG but my message got kicked back as an invalid recipient.)

Well hell, I thought I took a screenshot of the schem but I guess not.  But I did find the whole article.  It's a few pages down.  "Vox treble/bass booster Module 1351A."

Thanks!

Chugs

I had one once. If memory serves correctly, it was a EH LPB-1 clone with a switchable cap.
