47n     10n     3.3n    1n    220p

1uf     470n    100n   6.8n   22n

---------------------------------------

My take on values:

30n  10n  3n   1n   360p

1.5u 470n 150n 6.8n 22n

Not much of a difference...

47n     10n     3.3n    1n    220p

1uf     470n    100n   6.8n   22n       yep 6.8n better.. ;)

been thinking i might have a cap switch in the middle band... :icon_idea:

Hi guys,

whats the deal with the la3600 eq, ...

I just realized its not subtractive is it,,,?

meaning, you can only boost from ccw to cw....not boost and cut..from 12 oclock

bummer....hmmmm...it works fine, but i want to be able to cut too...

any other relatively simple  graphics that will boost and cut?

Yeah i saw that, but i have it on bread working, and there is no noticable cut, only boost...

hmmmm....

When all pots are fully ccw its the same as bypassed.....weird..

Edit...

from ccw to 12 oclock no difference....

Check wiper connections, it should not be connected to any of the other two terminals.

hi guys, ok, i thought i'd have a stab at a parametric eq...

anyone built a 4 stage ''geofex'' simple parametric eq?...

success or no...

yep tried it but mine didnt work. Might be my breadboarding skills or lack thereof.
Hunt around theres a few more parametric eq schematics around IIRC GGG have one.

Edit
why dont you breadboard it with just one eq stage see how you get on Mr H?

Search the forum for parametric eq Rob some intresting stuff there

The design works. Take a look at Josh McClarren's (1776 Effects, hangs out on the Madbean forum) 'Six Shooter'.

This uses op-amp gyrators of fixed frequency - not sweepable. However, you could make it fully parametric easily enough.

That's handy dandy Sam thanks especially since it's a 9v version too

Might have to bread it with my fantastic bread boarding skills.

It should be easy enough to breadboard as you can do it piece by peace - input buffer, ouput buffer, then a single gyrator, etc...
