I was looking for some of the old-school brown tagboard with the terminal-strip style terminals and can't find anything. Even keystone seems to put turrets on their tagboard. Anyone know of a good source?

Mind you, this is the smaller size stuff, like what you see in pedal builds. Not the larger amp sized stuff. I have some, it's quality stuff.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I guess I can cut it down for smaller builds. Wish it was in the States, but you can't have everything. ;-)

Thank you!

Nice!!! I already placed an order from Ampmaker, but now I have someplace else to try.

This forum is such a handy resource.

Thank you.

Necro Bump..

Any of this stuff available in the US?   I've been trying to find out from guys like Ghost Effects where they get their dark brown tagboard, but nobody wants to talk.

Yeah, that'll work!  Thanks My Man! I need to get some stuff from Dougie anyway, so that will be nice!  :icon_mrgreen:

Ted Weber also has a selection:

https://www.tedweber.com/amps/terminal-strips-eyelet-boards

I have never stocked this kind of material, because it's so much more common in amp builds. Maybe I should...

Well good, I don't have to feel guilty for not thinking to check Small Bear first!  (I was thinking amps too).

Since everybody above seems to stock the same G10 version, maybe you can track down the dark brown (phenolic?) type.  You know, for the mojo.

When I asked this same question (phenolic + tags) the answer I got was eBay from Asia. User "bluebunny" posted a sweet tag board build pic that got me asking.

Yeah It might be worth stocking it for a bit to see, I wouldn't be surprised if it sold.  I'd certainly buy it from you, that being said I don't build 200 of these a year or anything.  Maybe 5  :icon_mrgreen:

Thanks for the Input fellas

Antique Electronics Supply in Tucson AZ has supplies for amplifiers and pedals (right down to wah pedal racks and pinions) but the following is a tagboard offering:

https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/tagboard-300mm-x-56mm-2-x-28-tags

there are a few more here with 26 tags or 52 turrets:

https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/terminal_boards_strips?page=3

They also have terminal boards with one, two or three 9-pin sockets on them.  Their whole site is worth a look.

Same company, but cedist is the wholesale version, somewhat lower prices and you need to have a wholesale account.

I don't know why they have two identical retail websites.

Yep, the bay was where I found mine: China and/or Hong Kong.

Sorry, my bad, Antique Electronics Supply is listed at the same address (not Tucson) so now we have:

Antique Electronics Supply
Tubes and More
Amplified Parts

all listed as retail outlets for

CE Distribution

This seems to be a strange combination but at least it shows why Antique Electronics Supply has pages for pedals and amplifiers.

willienillie

Well to be fair, tubesandmore.com is just the web address for Antique Electronic Supply.  That one's been around for ages, then in more recent years they added amplifiedparts.com, for some reason.  Maybe they thought it sounded cooler, or maybe it's to get more results in Google searches.
