Easiest and quickest PT 2399 based delay / echo circuit?
« on: June 17, 2016, 11:00:18 PM »
I am sure this has been asked. I have a dozen PT2399 ICs and am a little past the Bazz Fuss, boosts, and dirt circuits but not quite advanced enough to make the full-size PT2399 based delay circuits with all the bells and whistles (nor do I have the attention span to read those hyper-detailed schematics - lol). That said, what is the easiest, quickest, PT2399-based delay circuit with only one (not necessarily one - but simplicity is my need) pot for delay that would allow me to become familiar with components of delay and echo and something I can perhaps build upon.Unfortunately, I cannot afford the pre-packed kits. I simply have many parts I have collected and cannibalized over the years. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

The deep blue delay is a great, simple, yet 3- knob version. Vero layouts are available en masse ...

Rebote 2.5 at tonepad is very simple but useful. There is also a delay circuit in the datasheet for the PT2399 you can try.

Floor-mat at the front entrance to my former place of employment. Oh... the irony.

+1 for merlin small time

but for me, zero point micro madbean is my first diy delay live in my pedalboard
and you can build deep blue delay-ish in same board :icon_twisted:

I quite like the original Cave Dweller at Madbean.  But three knobs.  (Not sure you'll find a single-knob delay.  What would the knob do?)

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

+1 for the Small Time:

Or the DeProfundis:

The little "modulation daughterboard" can be used with the Small Time as well
