Normally open -> normally closed
« on: September 08, 2016, 06:44:16 PM »
I'm about to build a foot switch the same as a Digitech FS3X. I believe I need normally open switches, i have some normally closed momentary switches laying around... Is it possible to make a n/c switch act as a n/o at all, or in this instance?? (FS3X)
Thanks.

Do you have a digital MultiMeter? Also, I'm assuming that you are using SPDT switches? If possible, use your multimeter to determine which switch is always on and just reverse them in the circuit if that makes sense. I hope this helps!
I own and run M.D. Effects, check it out here: http://www.mdeffects.net

Thanks MD I'll see if I can make that work.  Yes meter, yes SPDT.
