how many farad do i need and allowance should i need?
single stage, non inverting opamp consume 30ma and the other seperate pedal is bjt 10ma

Not clear on where the Farads are needed in the circuit. Do you have a schematic we could look at?

In single supply Op-Amp you need a 100nF ceramic capacitor for PS decoupling..

BIG capacitors lie right after PS rectification (sometimes with a small series resistor before them - to create a low pass filter..)

Anyway, a rule of (fat) thumb is 10.000μF per Ampere (or 10μF/mA)..

For your demands, a 470μF (with an optional series resistor of 10 - 47 Ohm - the lower the value the less the voltage drop..) should be fine... :icon_wink:

P.S. Not lower than 6R8 for 60Hz and 5R6 for 50Hz mains supply, with the 470μF cap...
