Simple Octave Down
« on: April 16, 2017, 02:09:06 AM »
Hi!

I'm trying to find a relatively simple schematic for an analog octaver, preferably one that only has octave down. I found one for the Madbean Lowrider which is super cool, but a bit more complex than I'm looking to get into.

Thanks!
Nick

Here's a link to the Lowrider if you're interested:  http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/LowRider/docs/LowRider.pdf

I tried to make one once to put it inside one of my fuzzes, but I gave up the project halfway through, so I never tried any of those schematics:

(yep it's a google search to show you how easy it is to find)
You take everything you don't need out and just breadboard the octaver part, there are more than one design but they all look similar so it should not be too hard to test multiples designs.

nick - check the shocktave. it is octave down, but fairly dirty. there is a Ben Lyman thread open at the moment with plenty info in (including a clean version). also, ask a moderator to move this thread for you to the general area, where more people will see it.
