I'm keen to give this one ago, and have been working on the PCB layout over the last couple of evenings. In my research I came across a post on another site: http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2016/11/earthquaker-devices-dephs.html?showComment=1507864550656#c4218660811678748540 advocating putting a trimmer pot in place of the 47k resistor that connects the Base & Collector of the MPSA18 to the LED. R25 in my schematic:

Luckily I've not run out of room, so I can put one in, but what I've not discovered, now that it's variable feast, is how do I know when I've set it correctly? I'm not sure I understand what it's doing and I would be really grateful if anyone could tell me.

Also, the suggested trim pot value is 250k which is replacing a 47k resistor, would 100k seem more sensible?

I came after the battle I see. Yes I do have problems with the LFO as well, stop working at low settings. Any idea how to correct that?

Whar are you using over Q1 and Q2? which voltajes are there?
To you, buffered bypass sucks tone.
To me, it sucks my balls.
