I recently came into the possession of a 60's vintage Eico ST-70 Integrated stereo tube amplifier.  From what information I can gather it has some pretty good parts and pieces.  I would like to build a amp using the pieces and parts for my son.

From some pre-liminary research I have done, I am thinking something along the lines of the vintage Ampeg amplifiers which used the 7159's as well.  I know the Gemini II was a 2 channel amp.  Is it crazy to think this would be a fairly simple conversion to build something like the Gemini 2 or a 2 channel Revererocket?  I realize I will likely need to replace all the caps and probably a few resistors as well.  I am not real interested in restoring it as a Hi-Fi amp.  My son will get way more use and enjoyment out of it as a guitar amp than I will for Hi-fi use.  All the tubes are present and accounted for.  It is in pretty good condition and was working when it was placed in storage.

Thanks
