Whammy WH1 Diode question
« on: July 18, 2017, 08:44:37 PM »
Hi there, I need to replace a missing diode on a whammy wh1 (first edition). Does any one have a schematic or BOM? The missing diode is labelled D7. On the top of the board. Thanks

Hey there,

It looks like D7 corresponds to the red LED according to the schematic as well as your mention of it being near the top of the board. It also uses the icon for an LED rather than the regular kind or a Zener.

If you want the schematic I've uploaded it HERE! Unfortunately it doesn't come with a BOM but I believe every component is labelled in one way or another.

Super! Thanks alot. Once I pulled the pcb board from the unit I could tell the led had previously been smashed (probably when trying to remove the pcb). Thanks  for the schem. I had trouble finding a copy. All working! Great pedal I think

Hi guys
Could you repost schematics again? I’m having problem with signal bleed and cap is causing calibration to go off after a couple minutes.
