Hi All - first post and a bit of a noob.

I've built a rullywow Tremolow - based off a schaller harmonic. I like it, except for the 'dwell/depth'. To me, when then pot is at 0, there's nothing, moved a bit it's perfect but a bees dick too far and I think the effect is too 'deep'.

I had the idea to change the pot type/K to see how that would help. The original is a 25kB, I wasn't sure if going higher or lower or changing the type of taper would be the best idea.
Any guidance?

Cheers  :)

Try a smaller pot. Might also try one with an audio/logarithmic taper.

Welcome cjnicho.

When asking questions it's customary to post up the schematic.
Then people can see what it is at least.

Double check you have the right values around the dwell pot
R14 R12 R10 R15
Also check that the pot is wired right. lugs 3 & 2 are tied.

If you've got all the values right and you just want less range (higher min and lower max), a smaller pot is the answer, but the next size pot down - 10k is probably too small (you may be able to find a 20k pot, and you can just try other 25k pots to find one that is lower value than the one you have now - variance is wide with pots).  Otherwise, try adding a 100-470k resistor in parallel with the pot.

That is the first time I've heard that phrase, very apt use [emoji23]
Still in the process of learning, so bear with me if I ask dumb questions :P
