Hi just need some help to clear up a confusion, I'm guessing people are sick of seeing my name on here asking questions haha!

I'm in the progress on making an EA tremolo you can see the pcb on the first page of this pdf http://pedalparts.co.uk/docs/EATrem-MkII.pdf

I've used 15k resistor as r8 as I'm not using a flashing LED

I'm also using this 3pdt daughter board http://pedalparts.co.uk/docs/3PDTDC.pdf

Basically I'm just confused on how the LED comes into this, is r8 the CLR so I just hook up the led on the 3pdt board or do I need to use a CLR on the daughterboard.

Thanks

antonis

Don't be confused 'cause they actually are 2 different LEDs - one for On/Bypass indicator and one for tremolo Rate indicator..

You may use the second one (blinking) for both purposes but in your case just ignore it (short-circuit Rate led anode/cathode) and use 3PDT switch LED as usually..

With the 15k for R8, you jumper the LED + to the LED - pad. No LED is used here.

The bypass LED is wired to the 3pdt daughterboard and you will need a 4.7k or 10k for the CLR resistor on the daughterboard.

(This is what antonis is saying, but spelled out in more detail) :)

Hi, I know its late but I used a 10k resistor in clr and 3mm red led and theres no signal when its active, led not lighting

also had around about 4.5v at test point before putting in box now it measures at -2.5v?
