Hi, again guys.
Well, totally re-boxed the lovely little comp, started to use it but noticed something weird.
Don't get me wrong, maybe, it should work like this, I don't know, I've never heard an original.
The problem is that I'd like to use it with drum machines and it seems, if it is engaged, it cuts all the low end.
Tried the trimmer, doesn't help.
I dont know guys, it is a guitar pedal, maybe it should work like this, I mean, cuts the low, who knows, but surely, it cuts everything below, I don't know around 200-400 Hz, so, I have to beef up my kicks again.
Compresses like hell, but cuts the low.
Is it normal?

Maybe replace that input capacitor, 10n to 100n? Easy to try as you can just tack solder the new caps in parallel to the old. Maybe another on the way out.... the two on the bases of Q3 and Q4? Just tack bigger ones on to the existing and check it out.

A common mod is to increase the output cap.  Originally 50n (47n), try 100n.

I'll try these guys, thank you very much.
But is it normal?
I mean, I do not have a guitar, so I'm using it with a drum machine...
I almost bought a boxed one, just affraid that it will be the same...
