Request for debug help

Hi all,

I tried to read Aron's post and follow it as best I could, but while I have fixed and built a couple of pedals in the past, I'm real bad at this circuit and electrical stuff so please bear with me.

The wah pedal isn't producing any sound or effect when it is engaged. When the footswitch is tapped again and the pedal is "off", sound goes through.

No mods
This is a "Center negative" pedal
No ground conversion
Battery not used

(with pedal circuit plugged into working adapter for power)
Voltage at the circuit board end of the red battery lead = 0
Voltage at the circuit board end of the black battery lead = 0

Voltage at pins shown in picture (L/R pin) with black voltmeter pin on GND

Hey, I realize this is an old post (it's possible you've already figured out the problem) but I saw this and thought I'd respond.. First off what's going on here, is this a bone stock Crybaby that you just pulled & swapped the inductor? All the info you provided with all those components and the voltage reads across them tells me absolutely nothing unfortunately.. Sorry it probably took a while to measure and take down all those readings.

*based on the fact that your getting bypass (switch off) signal it's almost certainly a problem with heat damage to the circuit board, like a trace or pad at or near the in/out jack's. That OR the more likely scenario; a broken or improper connection between the circuit board and the switch. Basically when the switch is "off" you're taking everything out the pedal but the jacks, switch and a bit of wire so the problem (provided you were careful not to hit anything near the inductor pads with your iron) then there's a problem somewhere in those parts In Jack>wire>switch>wire>Jack out
