mixing an iPad 2 line out back into the signal path.

I'm looking at using an old iPad 2 as a delay. These are the older iPads with line in and line out capabilities.

The plan is to send the signal to a klon buffer with two outputs splitng the signal into two. One is the dry the other goes to the line in on the iPad through delay app (wet / repeats only) then back into the signal chain. My question is what is the best way to mix these two signals together?

Thanks in advance.

A mixer?

Don't start from clean sheet. Plagiarize any/many reverb/delay circuits.

The line level will probably be a lot stronger than the dry guitar level, so you might need to pad the input on that side of the mixer, or put a volume control on it. Perhaps the app has a level control that would work?

Check out the ROG splitter blender for an idea, then somewhere on this forum, PRR posted a revised schematic of it that uses one of the opamps more efficiently as the polarity inverter since the dual send opamps are superfluous.
