I have embarked on a somewhat ill advised attempt to build an Ibanez Super Metal using the Metal Charger schematic found on this site.

The thing is this will be the first time I've ever built a pedal using only a schematic and I realise I've picked a pretty ambitious project, but I'm sure if I focus on one section at a time with a little persistence I'll get there in the end.

Now I've already started by redrawing the schematic in Diptrace, mostly to gain a better understanding of it. I've done some research and I think I've answered most of my own questions, what I need is someone to confirm that I've got the right idea's.

Here is the diptrace schematic (diptrace file extention) so far https://www.dropbox.com/s/dnvz64d2frtbscl/Ibanez%20MS10.dch?dl=0

My first question is about what I believe is part of the JFET switching circuit.

I've circled two resistor capacitor pairs that the author has noted have unknown values. My question is, can I just use the values from another Ibanez schematic like this one out of a tube screamer?

Also should I change the 39K resistor in the top left to a 56K?

The other thing I noticed on this schematic was the pairs of circled letters A, A, B, B, E, E, F, F, F. I figured these should be connected and are used to make the schematic neater, so in Diptrace I just joined them up with wires.

I think that's about it for the schematic. My other question was, can anyone confirm that the MS10 circuit is the same as the SM9? I know it's been asked before in the forum, but not for a long time and opinions change.

I'm going to bump this because I relised I forgot to include the links to the images.
