Dual Mini Booster or split BSIAB questions

I'm on a gear kick lately and i'm finding my way back to building some new toys!

I built a mini booster / golden dragon overdrive on perf way back when and really was impressed with what it could do.

With that said, I'd like to build something based on the dual mini booster idea and set up two footswitches in a 1590bb so that I may use a single booster or chain them for the full BSAIB sound.

Schems for reference:

My question is, where would y'all suggest a I split the BSIAB and would any mods, component additions, or components subtractions be wise to implement given the newfound splitting of the gain stages?

I'm thinking 6-8 pots and two footswitches depending on if I install the voicing control on the 4 knob BSIAB.

I have a good idea of what this will look and function like but I'd like to get some perspective and guidance before i order parts and start hacking at the project.

Easiest way is disconnecting Gain pot middle lug and using it as output Volume pot..
(but you also by-pass Tone control..)

You can alternatively connect Gain pot middle lug right after C3 but you'll also need some kind of buffering between Gain pot & Tonestack..
(and perhaps a permanent pull-down resistor on C3 negative leg to avoid popping during engangement..)

ok yeah, this is sort of what i was anticipating.

Perhaps I should think about independently voicing each half of the circuit and omit the tone stack altogether sort of like an SHO.

Thoughts?
