How to wire a power output jack

Hello all.

I'm building a looper pedal.  It will have a standard 9VDC power input jack (to power the LEDs), and no battery.  I would like it to also have a power output jack, to send power on to another pedal (in this case a tuner, because neither the looper nor the tuner needs isolated power).  I see certain Boss and other pedals that have a power input and power output jack.  It's effectively the same as using a daisy chain cord.

This may be a really simple/stupid question, but how do I go about wiring that second jack to the first?  I have searched a lot but can't find any diagram.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Cheers,
Dave

Connect the terminals together would be the easiest way. So, positive to positive, negative to negative. You should try to calculate the power consumption of the pedal you are building so that you know the remaining power available to the output
