Can anyone give me any info about Malekko's Germanium B:ASSMASTER?

Hi everyone.  I'm looking to build a couple Brassmaster/B:ASSMASTER clones.  I've got everything I need for the original silicon version, but I'm also trying to build a clone of Malekko's Germanium version, and i'm having trouble figuring out what to do about the transistors.

I've been doing some homework and I found Malekko posted in a forum stating the diodes are 1N34As, and the transistor is an AC187 (https://www.talkbass.com/threads/question-about-malekko-b-assmaster.401179/#post-5237813).  My question would be does anyone know which transistor he changed?  I also found this picture:

showing the germanium diodes and what is obviously one germanium transistor, but I'm not sure exactly where in the circuit that would be.  Also, would all the others remain 2N3392s?  While I'm at it, I better ask, do I need to change any of the resistors/caps to accommodate the AC187?

In case it's important, I'm using FuzzDog's PCB (build documents: http://pedalparts.co.uk/docs/BrassMaster-V2.pdf)

Thanks much in advance!
