This was a fun little project that took on a life of it's own.  This is my first build in over 6 years and was done as a "why not" type of thing.  It is basically a stock Rog Ruby amp with the rog tonemender feeding into it then once I got that working I figured why not take the board out of my byoc spring reverb and place it at the beginning of the chain.  I had to make a few mods to keep the knob count down due to size limits but this is a really cool little amp!  It plays and responds very tube like and I can say it is the most fun "little" amp I have ever played through.  Please excuse the poor gut shots.  I forgot to take pics before getting it all wired up so it's hard to get a good look at the boards now but anyhoo... This was fun and now I'm building a version for my bass too https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=122340.0

That cab looks amazing! Very nice grain.

As for the sound, the Ruby is a good amp if you play it through a good speaker. In your case it looks like a normal 6" or 8" speaker, already much better than the 3" and 4" normally used in cigar boxes.

Thanks.  That was some maple I've had sitting around for a few years and was really the only suitable piece of wood I had that was big enough so it got used on this cheap little amp lol.  Classes it up nicely lol.  The speaker is a 6" from a home stereo surround sound subwoofer box.  The system died a couple years ago so it was ripe for donation.
