Pots-Ka and Kb?

ive torn apart some old pedals for parts and found a few  pots i thought about using for other things but i dont recognize the letters..expl- 250 kb- thats a 250k but whats the "b" ? another pot is a 250ka- whats the "a".

Usually the "A" on the end denotes analog taper and the "B" denotes linear taper.

Arn did you mean audio taper? Never heard of it called analog??

You`re right:
he means "log", which stands for "logarithmic", a.k.a. "audio".

European pots however like to be labeled the other way round for
"A" & "B",
and call the "antilog" (reverse audio) "C".
