Geranium transistor base collector emitter orientation

Hey all,

I bought some matched 2N169 NPN geranium transistors from Small Bear and... uh, they don't have a flat side or any indication how to orient them. 



They do have these markings on top:


but.... I don' get it. 

Here's the side and the paper they included with the transistors:

The collector is the lead separate from the others, then comes base and emitter.
