Has anyone come up with a series of breadboarding projects to teach introductory theory behind pedal electronics?

I'm thinking of something like:

Transistor projects
simple single (BJT) buffer/booster (emitter-follower?)
simple two transistor buffer/booster
simple one transistor treble booster
simple two transistor treble buffer/booster

simple circuit to measure/determine FET bias
simple single FET buffer/booster
simple two FET buffer/booster

simple unity gain op amp buffer
simple op amp buffer/booster
op amp overdrive or distortion
op amp buffer with tone control - this can take on many forms - possibly a subsection by itself
op amp diode clipping - post amp
op amp diode clipping - feedback loop

Any suggestions for other *simple* stand-alone circuits that could teach the fundamentals used?

single transistor phase shift oscillator
single transistor twin-tee [?] oscillator

single transistor phase splitter

most of the listed so far converted to mosfet
don't make me draw another line.

Smallbear has a couple such tutorial projects.  I'll dig up a link if no one beats me to it.  :icon_wink:

I started with the Fuzz Face and Rangemaster layouts from the Smallbear link,  then the great links on this very site for a DOD250 like overdrive:

There are around 25 or so on my site which illustrate a lot of basics.

Also, you may enjoy From Schematic to Reality which covers a lot of basic pedal building stuff.

Enjoy!

Thanks to everyone that's replied so far.  The internet has gotten so big that sometimes you can find exactly what you're looking for with one click, and sometimes what you're looking for evades you even though it's just one page away.  I've been playing with electronics for more than 50 years, and just recently turned to effects pedals through a friend.  Most of this is fairly simple, but I'm trying to compile projects that are pretty much pedal/effects-specific to help teach some younger folks getting into the game.  For me, having too much information is never a problem, so please keep up the suggestions!
