Replacement Soldering Iron - Aus stock.
« on: March 04, 2019, 08:09:53 PM »
Hey guys & girls
My dad's old soldering iron died last year. RIP. Dunno when he bought it, but it would've been somewhere before the early 80's, as I used it to burn holes in crap as a high school student.

I have a crappy one from Supercheapauto I'd bought for an emergency trailer repairs on a camping trip, but it's proved to be horrible at electronics.

Can anyone recommend another iron or iron station that will do the job? I know it's a "you get what you pay for" thing, but I'd like to keep this under $100 (and honestly, close to the $50 mark). Oh yeah, Australian stores.
Thanks in advance

Lol, just saw this under the replies to my post.
Thought I'd give an update on it.

Awesome soldering iron. Great price, it does what it's supposed to do and I like it.
