I recently attempted my first build, this Spring Reverb kit:  https://buildyourownclone.com/products/reverb2

Somewhat to my astonishment, the pedal actually works -- but the output level is very low.  As a complete novice, I am not sure if there is an easy way to troubleshoot what I could have done wrong that would cause the volume to be low, or how to know if it's just the kit.

I'm very much looking forward to this sort of thing becoming part of my actual in-brain knowledge, but until then any pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Build a probe and follow the schematic to check where the volume drops. Check the inputs and outputs of the tl072 ic and the input and output of the reverb.

If the volume at the input of one of the ic is high and the output is low then some component related to the ic is wrong (r4 or r13 for example).

Idk, I think thats the most basic thing you can do.
