I've built a Tube Driver from TH Custom Effects:

It's normal that the 6v voltage regulator for tube heater down to 5,60V? Without tube they have 6v stable.

It really shouldn't do that.

Is your "9V" sagging below 8V with the heater load?

However it should run fine at 5.6V.
