I am looking for some options for LED bezels or lenses that could work to show light from a board mounted SMD LED. Maybe something similar to an amp LED jewel, but preferably cheaper. Anyone have suggestions?

Maybe you need some sort of acrylic light pipe.

My thought process is that I can get the LED to shine bright enough from the board to show through any translucent cap or lense, but im looking for something off-the-shelf that i can fairly easily implement in a stompbox.

Not exactly off the shelf but: how about a hole? That only works if the board is close to the surface, though. Otherwise, you could mount a fresnel lense like this directly in a hole in the enclusure:

Should distribute the light OK, but of course it would not be visible from all angles as well as a box mounted LED would. Comes in other colors as well and also in 3mm:

I mount SMD LEDs behind submini tubes and let them shine through the tubes, so I guess I use 6N21B as my bezels :P
