the diagram they supply is clocked wrong, and it appears they adapted from an earlier dpdt to a 3pdt in the later versions. the circuit works, and fine, BUT ya gotta do the legwork to determine which lugs on the switch go to which pads on the board. looking at the schematic, you'll figure it out.
i mean, basically, its in, out, ground and hot. but use your meter to find out which, and you'll be fine. if i still had one, i'd open it up and take a gut shot for ya, but it was sold a long time ago. i DID look thru mynotes, but couldn't find anything yet. if i do, i'll post. just several thousand pages of shit to go thru.
