Is that programmable?

So the chip is obviously programmable, but this board just uses the pre-programmed effects.

Brief update: So I got my boards back, and it looks like I made a huge mistake: when I was making footprints I made the V4220 pads too big, and they're pretty tight pitch, so I can't get solder on them without them bridging, so this board is unfortunately a no-go. I may get around to re-spinning it, but then again the BTDR-ABE may come out before then :P

Are there analog inputs on the v1000 or v4220?
If not, is there an ADC on the BTDR-ABE for the potentiometer controls?

The V1000 doesn't seem to, and the V4220 doesn't have anything listed as an analog input, but it is an audio codec so it has to have some form of ADC. The BTDR-ABE "datasheet" mentions pins assigned for pots, they may be going through the V4220 which just talks I2C to the V1000. I was hoping it would be like the FV-1 where it had some analog inputs set as default pot inputs, but neither datasheet mentions anything like that.

So I may continue pursuing this for fun, but I do have an order of FV-1 chips on their way :P

Can I ask where you managed to get hold of some FV-1 chips as they are put of stock due to a manufacturing problem a while back , They should be filtering through to stockists soon but I can't find any available yet.

Aliexpress :P They're coming from China, and should be here in a week or so. But I also got on the backorder list with Experimental Noize, the US distributor, in case the Chinese ones turn out to be no good.

For anyone who does try to program the V1000, the AL3201 datasheet has a bit more detail and could provide some much needed insight.

I found it here: http://freeverb3vst.osdn.jp/doc/262763_1.pdf

[edit]
The Wavefront datasheet is probably better than the Alesis version, and this link has the eval board schematic as well.

Since everything is done via RAM read/write, it sure helps to know how the memory is laid out. I think the Wavefront datasheet is the most clear about this, and the most clear about the LFO operation.

So apparently the BTDR-ABE is in stock at Bonzai now, though I haven't seen them anywhere else yet, so I picked one up from there because I have to try it :P

Fuzz dogs have fresh stock.

Interesting that nobody in the US seems to have it. Oh well, I can wait a couple weeks :P

I got one of the modules in like a month ago, still haven't had a chance to breadboard it up  ::)

When the weather improves, I'll be able to finish the enclosure for my build of Rick's Stasis Leak.

It did.  And I'm locked in.  So I did.   ;)   Pics in the Pictures thread (where else?), and Rick's project thread.
