Hi all,

I recently bought a pre wired LED(from Love my Switches) and a 3PDT switch to install on my MOD Trill Tremolo pedal. I wanted to see if you guys happen to know what exactly I need to to in order to install the LED. I never installed an LED on a pedal that never hand one before, so any advice\tips would be appreciated. This is my first DIY pedal so I do not want to screw it up too much, lol.

Cheers!

Welcome mate.
Could you provide a schematic or build document we can refer to so we are better informed.
Maybe then we can help more.

I'm guessing this is the circuit

You could use a transistor led driver like so
Connect the 1k base resistor to the node between 100k, 3M

Maybe change the 500 Ohms to 1k> depending on how much you value your retina.

If I'm thinking right the example on the right of pic would be in phase with the lfo.
If it's not right for you do the other.

Good luck

I tried uploading the image twice, but no luck.

?

They're visible, though the second one is too small to be readable.  But the PDF works for us.

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

Must be my PC then. Nothing shows on me end.

So I installed the LED but I am having no luck getting it to work. Can someone please tell me my mistake?

You'll probably want to add a ground connection if you want to complete the circuit (center lug of the stomp switch in your case)

Also, stray from relying on chassis ground in pedals. Parts may come loose.

Just from looking at your circuit, I'm inclined to believe it's not completely functional.
Is that speed control connected to ground as it should be?
