Illuminated Expression Pedal mod
« on: March 08, 2020, 12:45:01 AM »
Hi Guys, I have a Mission Expression pedal for my RJM Matermind Controller. It has an LED on the tip of it to indicate if the toe switch has been engaged. It is very hard to see it when your foot is on it as your toes tend to get in the way. I have seen the Mission Aero pedal which has an illuminated base plate which looks really cool. I am wondering how I woul dbe able to mod my current pedal to be able to light up like that. I have a bunch of LED strip at home and I have a spare isolated 9v power feed on my board that I could use to power it. Not sure where to go from here though.

Has anyone else done anything like this? I'd love top hear your thoughts guys.

Here's a link for the Mission pedal for reference:

You could get an acrylic plate for the bottom of your pedal.  You move the existing LED so that it's buried in the new plate.  Our very own deadastronaut may be able to supply one.
