It's about time I had a proper uniform when I'm doing this stuff!   :icon_cool:

Nice!

Speaking of uniforms, I'm missing a proper short sleeve collared shirt, though. I also want merit badges for "fried a circuit with reversed power supply", "burned a hole in the kitchen table with my soldering iron", "built 100 slightly different Tube Screamers", "read a datasheet", and many more. Embroidered batches would be nice, or pin-back buttons. I understand these are easy to make if one has the proper machine. Does anyone here have one? I'd be happy to contribute a few designs...

My dry, sweaty foot had become the source of one of the most disturbing cases of chemical-based crime within my home country.

A cider a day keeps the lobster away, bucko!

I like that Tube screamer one, but I'm changing to I bought....

patrick398

Ordered! I'm upset that i couldn't get a white one though, it's hard for stains to show up on all these dark colours.

I still have the one I bought 10? years ago when you originally had them made.

But it is showing the signs of time and it is time for a new one.

I like the idea of the sew-on badges.  It would be like being in the Scouts!   :)

Adafruit used to sell a bunch of skill badges, like this one for soldering:

Just Google: adafruit skill badges to see them all.
They are unfortunately discontinued now though.

Technical difficulties.  Please stand by.

duck_arse

but the DIYSB soldering skill badge would need to be based on this style soldering .....

would also need a 'I stained my new tee shirt' badge.

iainpunk

i'd love to see just a simple patch with just the site logo on it, i have a front pocket flap on my punk vest that needs a patch, preferably 120mmx35mm or smaller  ;) ;) ;)
it would be cool if the transistor legs would stick out of the rectangular patch

cheers,
Iain
friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.

Sadly, this is NOT in Aron's Store so he won't get the profit. He should do a deal like this:
