JHS has just revealed in this video, at 44:10, that the boost side of the Andy Timmons @+ pedal is nothing but a TS808 with fixed drive and tone settings and only a volume control:

I just wanted to share with those who were curious and wondering like me.

Cheers,
Giulio

not surprised it's pretty unoriginal, the standard timmons circuit is just a reworked crunchbox/marshall guvnor isn't it.

Oh gosh. A TS copy. Who would do that?

Shocked and amazed that JHS, of all people, would just knock out another established circuit yet get loads of kudos for it.

If PedalPCB got it right then the boost side is nothing like a TS, it uses a single MOSFET.

That's odd, I had assumed that bugg traced the original pedals for the pcb's of "non-classic" pedals - not just offer a work-a-like.
The boost in there was posted eleven years ago by soulsonic at fsb, and called "Crackle NOT Ok!".
