Hello:I am designing a pedal and i have the first section sounding good . then when i add a tone stack the output vol is super low..is it common practice to add a output booster section after the tone stack? if so does anyone have a suggestion for the output booster?this is the boost section i am looking at (pic 2 )  but to me doesnt seem to boost it at all?tone stack is similar to pic 1

Yes.. An output booster, like the one in BMPi should be OK..  :icon_wink:
(the one posted exhibits a recovery boost of about 13dB..)

You might have to tweak your booster according to your particular tonestack loss..

P.S.
What does VA feed..??
"I'm getting older while being taught all the time" Solon the Athenian..
"I don't mind  being taught all the time but I do mind a lot getting old" Antonis the Thessalonian..
